Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for snacks and any drinks or paper goods
  • Get legible contact info, give a pin/nametag, inquire about visitors
  • Introduce new members and visitors at meeting and engage at coffee break
  • Welcome/send club thank you note to speakers
  • Follow up  new member inquiry from website or phone calls
  • Take pictures of speaker
  • Coordinate visitors vs. new members with Doug
  • Send email to visitors
  • Send cards/flowers/donations in memory of members
  • Send cards to members who have been absent

Political Action Committee

Rachel Kirk-Chair, Co Chair-Karen Gerloff  Mack Gilliland/ Jim Hays/Miriam Everette/Tanis Nelson/Barbara Armstrong/ James Shirley

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize local, state and national political events in which to participate
  • Request speakers and panels for discussion and forward contact information to 2nd vice president
  • Voter Registration
  • Plan and coordinate phone banks, postcard writing, canvassing
  • Create new  partners, publicize and educate community regarding TRI Co
  • Organize rallies

 

Communications

Responsibilities

  • Send and forward club info emails to members (with TRICO subject title)
  • Keep membership roster current
  • Send new members welcome email
  • Post on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram
  • Design & print business cards, notecards, brochures
  • Create, print, New Member Welcome packet
  • Post on our website
  • Take Photos
  • Design flyers
  • Text/call members for event participation
  • Create new  partners, publicize and educate community regarding TRI Co

Responsibilities

  • Plan quarterly field trip/social event-ie. (Museum of Tolerance, Cal Poly Horse Show, Intergenerational Social Event, Bowling, Dinner, Art Exhibit)
  • Plan occasional educational in service-(Email organizing, QR codes, CPR)
  • Plan  quarterly community service project-(Scouts, Homeless, Women’s Shelter, Food Bank, Red Cross)
  • Create new partners, publicize and educate community regarding TRI Co
